Hertfordshire Home Buyers the Hertfordshire property investment and acquisitions business has received the latest update from Zoopla regarding the sales prices in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, covering the AL5 post code. The market has been surprisingly resilient despite the disruption from COVID.

Zoopla is reporting:

179 property sales over the past 12 months, with an average sale price of £743,330. Average value of property in Harpenden has now climbed to £865,643, which is an increase of £51,512, which is a 6.33% increase over the past 12 month period. Harpenden continues to provide a resilient option for homeowners, providing close proximity to London, good transport links with trains, motorways and multiple airports within a reasonable distance, particularly Luton airport and Heathrow airport.

The impact of the COVID pandemic appears not to have yet impacted house prices in Harpenden, in fact Harpenden is now as desirable as it has ever been, there has not been lots of new build development in the town, and many of the existing properties are large and have large gardens which is an attractive feature, particularly during lockdown.

The outlook for Harpenden and property prices there remains strong, with a number of high quality OFSTED rated schools providing a great basis for people to come and live in the town.
